Metaphysical Properties:  Kyanite is one of the minerals that never needs cleaning or clearing.  It will not accumulate or retain negative energy, which makes it a great attunement stone.  It is excellent for aligning the chakras and aligning our emotional, physical, and spiritual self.  It brings a tranquil and calming effect with particular focus on the throat and third eye chakras.

Obsidian:  Apache Tears are a type of obsidian, a glassy volcanic rock formed when lava came into contact with water. Our Apache Tears come from the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico. The name is a reference to the story of an Apache tribe being chased by the U.S. Calvary. The Apache men were forced over a cliff to their death, and the dark tears shed by the Apache women were said to have solidified into these little dark stones.
